Behavioral Activation (BA) is a widely used and empirically supported therapeutic approach to working with depression. This app includes the core pieces of Behavioral Activation: it starts by monitoring mood as related to already-existing activities, and then guides the user in selecting and scheduling rewarding activities. It provides opportunities to develop and edit options (vs relying solely on picklists), as well as guidance and troubleshooting, in order to allow for flexibility and some personalization of the user’s experience.
